Overview
Hypernym is the compression layer for AI inference that preserves meaning and intent. We led a partnerships- and pipeline-focused engagement, building the company’s market presence from zero and turning a research-grade breakthrough into a repeatable outbound motion.
The Challenge
The science was genuinely novel, which made it genuinely hard to sell. Hypernym had no social presence, no repeatable outbound motion, and a message that resonated with researchers but not yet with the infrastructure buyers. The goal was to differentiate the product and build a pipeline around it.
What We Did
Much of the most valuable work was upstream. Working closely with the founders, we ran market research and refined the core messaging and positioning, then took Hypernym’s deep AI infrastructure research and shaped it into multiple service offerings packaged for enterprise and business buyers. The goal was to make a dense technical breakthrough legible and purchasable.
From there, we built Hypernym’s initial social presence and designed an outbound engine on top of it. We A/B tested messaging end to end, from social posts through to outreach copy, so the highest-performing language carried through every touchpoint, and we automated those outreach campaigns with AI to scale the motion without losing personalization.
We also helped the founders build the full marketing and sales funnel, from first-touch awareness through to closing the deal. Because we stayed agile and built flexible pipelines and automations, we could test, learn, and adjust the message as fast as the market gave us signal.
The Outcome
Hypernym went from no market presence to a working, automated outbound engine and a set of packaged, sellable service offerings, with sharpened messaging that turned a dense research breakthrough into something enterprise buyers could actually understand and buy. The engagement also supported partnerships with Meta, AWS, and Cohere.
